Cammy BeanHost[laughs] So Ross, uh, before we get into what you found, what were you trying to learn or you trying to achieve? What was the purpose of your research, uh, and how did you go about it?
[laughs] Um, the, the purpose of my research was, uh, I had observed, I don't think that this is at, uh, the sharpest of my insights or the most unique of the things that I've ever thought in my life, that the L&D industry is going through a period of rapid change, and-
Um, uh, kind of tie with lots of stories about restructures and job losses and so on.
Like, lots of different attitudes to AI, and lots of our customers are restructuring.
Um, and so I basically wanted to do some structured interviews with some of our customers to understand what their experience was, and kind of, um, go deep rather than broad as you might do, uh, with some of the surveys and the, the kind of, the quantitative research that you see online.
They bought custom content from us, workshops or e-learning videos, animation and so on.
Um, across tech, financial services, professional services, consumer goods, spirits and beverages, media and broadcasting, energy, pharmaceuticals, and membership and accountancy bodies.
The main criteria was people who were willing to speak to me when I sent them an email.
