**Remember when the weekend actually felt like an event?** Before smartphones, constant notifications, streaming, and social media followed us everywhere, weekends had a different kind of freedom…
All right.
So we've already kind of set this stage.
And
honestly, a lot of this, like, this is kind of like recaps of things we've said in previous episodes.
Like I know that like your mall stories, you've told all those a lot when the mall rats episode, the halo two stories, we've talked about those.
The biggest part of this section that we're going to get into is we've kind of mentioned them talking about like the shindigs and stuff that we did, but that's when we really like started hanging out and doing stuff together.
And that's, that's a big focus that, that in the Derby
thing.
Yes.
Yes.
So that's valid.
You know, we are, we are approximately when this episode airs, which is nine 15, we are approximately, uh, four and a half weeks.
So basically six episodes away, uh, from our one year essentially and that means we've had a year's worth of content and things that we've talked about and it's inevitable that some of the same items are going to come up and you know it's just kind of part of it now we met so first off so so just the general recap so we grew up in louisville kentucky austin and i met working at gamestop And I would have been 20 night now.
Cause I literally like 2009, I was going to say 2019.
I was like, that ain't right.
2009.
Yeah.
Cause I had just turned 16.
Like I turned 16 and I started like the second week of October and I think.
Yeah.
So that's where we met.
So there is a time that is a pre-Austin and Chase meeting and a post-Austin and Chase meeting.
So thinking about kind of all things nostalgia related, I mean, what... what did life look like for you before we met in 2009? So
again, a lot of what I did like beforehand was, I mean, I spent so much time at Scott's house or either at Scott's house or Monday, the neighbor across the street, or we have a couple of buddies that live down the street, but just neighborhood kids.
All right.
So we've already kind of set this stage.
