Michigan State QB Alessio Milivojevic spoke to the media following a loss vs. the Illinois Illini on Saturday. Hear what he had to say, courtesy of Jacob Cotsonika on the Michigan State Spartans…
Go ahead, Connor.
Walk us through the two point conversion and how that play went down.
Yeah, you know, we had a, we had a few calls we were, um, thinking about, but this is one that had been on our minds the, the entire week.
You know, throughout the week, you drill some two-point plays to win the game, and there was, this was the one you had on top.
And that was the play we thought gave us the best chance, and, uh, they played it well, props to them, but, uh, yeah.
Thanks, Z.
Thank you.
Les, the leader.
Take us through, uh, what's going on on the sideline with you and your teammates for that fourth quarter turnaround and what were you thinking not gonna be down? What was like the heartbeat feeling, just a little bit of the emotion that kind of kept you in it for the turnaround?
Yeah, I mean, this team has never in it, but I think we showed it out there today.
I mean, we-- the one thing we do is we believe.
We believe at all times, no matter how, how mu- how much we're down, how much, we believe we're gonna win the game.
And that's what I felt on the sideline the, the entire game, to be honest.
Not only the fourth quarter, it was the entire game.
It was that feeling.
All right.
Thank you.
David, Chris.
I, I guess kind of explain where the emotion is now.
Um, you, you have the fight back.
You lose the game the way you did.
Is there a win and a loss like this, uh, big picture for the last half of the season?
Yeah.
Or how do you guys kind of-- Where does, where does coming off of that rank in this game for you guys?
Yeah, you know, the loss is gonna sting for sure.
