My brain hurts with this because of all the things that you would think Republicans would not allow to happen is the dismantling of the necessary infrastructure.
And by that, I mean the personnel, over 15,000 federal employees who work in this space to protect us from another 9-11 on any scale.
And the reality, I think, still remains that we're now more vulnerable today under this Republican administration than we have been in the last 30 years.
And I think that's a truth and a reality that more and more folks will have to come to grips with, because if something happens, what is our response going to be? I mean, we've had a conversation.
We had a conversation real quick about the fact that, you know, FEMA and other agencies that are out there to help people have been dismantled.
So all those protections, whether there's a storm that comes your way or a terrorist act that happens in your community, our government is not prepared to respond to it.
