So I'm, I'm at my office and the phone rings.
It was, like, I wanna say like 10, 11, 12 years ago.
The phone rings.
I pick up the phone, and this client says, "Hey, is so-and-so available? I really wanna get in and get a massage." And I said, "Is...
I'm sorry, she's not available." And the client goes, "What do you mean she's not available?" And I said, "She's not available.
I'm sorry." "I really wanna get in for a massage with, with her." I said, "I'm sorry, she just doesn't have any openings anytime soon." "What do you mean she doesn't have any openings?" And I'm like, "What do you mean, what do I mean? She doesn't have any openings." And it just kept going back and forth.
Every once in a while, I've gotten much better at this with time.
Time has...
You know, time makes us softer, I think.
And, uh, so we're going back and forth and back and forth, and I think I got a little...
I did, I got a little like, "Come on, man.
Like, what is your pro-"
I mean, without, without saying that.
And then finally it progresses to him saying, "I could destroy you." Like, this is a call for a massage appointment.
It's a call for a massage appointment.
Now this guy's gonna destroy me.
So I said, "I'm sorry, sir.
This is, this is escalating to a level I, I don't understand.
I'm gonna get going." So I hung up.
His wife calls and says, "Hey, listen.
We're trying to get in for an appointment for a massage with so-and-so.
We really want the appointment." I said, "Your husband just said he was gonna destroy me." [laughs] I'm like, "I need a minute." You know? It was just such a bizarro situation.
