With the way that I've worked, I've had a goal-based design process so that I can work with clients to kind of understand where they are, what they're wanting to achieve and create an identity based on that.

Like I said, they just think that they need a logo because that's what businesses do, right? And, you know, also there are those people that are struggling because they haven't done the initial groundwork before they started to build.

I really need to help those people with all the stuff that they should have done before they've reached out to me to design their logo.

And I know how to help them because I've done so many courses, workshops, read so many books, had so many conversations.

I've been... learning about business and and working out how I can be a better designer but the problem I've faced is that I don't I haven't felt it it's my place really to go to a business who've needed a logo and say you know what I think we should do is Like scrap the logo.

Let's go right back to the beginning and rip your whole business up from the roots.

Because I really feel that in order to do my job properly as a designer and creative thinker, In many cases, that's what I feel I need to do.

And, you know, having looked into all these different frameworks and systems, the one that I find the most interesting and most useful is all the stuff that Martin E. Myers put together.

And, you know, I learned more about that in a deeper way by doing the level C stuff and, you know, getting the certification.

In part, because like I said, I don't feel like it's my place really to start ripping up their business from the ground up.

but until now I just haven't had like the framework the system or anything like this or any of the documentation so on to actually offer it as a product or I haven't really worked out a way of really selling this because I you know I'm not a I'm not the biggest fan of you know just being another designer that's claiming that he's a brand strategist because I don't see myself in that way I don't really want to refer to myself as a brand strategist because I don't really see myself as one.

And I do know that I can help startups figure things out and make their business so much better than it could be.
