With 60 days until our next event, I’m asking a bigger question: **What standards should a private lending conference actually hold to?** There are more conferences than ever, but are they creating…
Matt RosenHost
And I've heard people say this, and there's a lot of chatter going on right now about there's just too many conferences.

And you know what those same people, though, it's interesting because those same people will show up at an event, put themselves around hundreds of other of their direct competitors that offering the same products, the same loan programs, the same DSCR stuff to the same brokers that are stopping by every booth looking for the lowest rate in term and the best term.

So is the conference a problem, really? Or is the conference actually the place where the industry gets connected? And here's another question.

Are conferences actually creating enough value for the people attending? Because if I'm a lender, OK, spending thousands of dollars on travel, hotels, registration, my time, my employees time and all that, I don't want to I don't want another three days of empty handshakes and drinks.

I mean, if you're the same and I'm thinking you're the same way, I want relationships.

And I want to learn something that's actually practical that I can apply to my business come Monday morning and make money with it.

I want access to people who I cannot usually get just sitting at my desk or in front of LinkedIn.

We're going to make sponsors valuable instead of turning them into walking billboards, as many of you have seen at other events.

We're going to create an environment where you leave saying that was worth my time.
