To start with, Ben, Clem, what is the deal with these unbelievable valuations?
Um, when I was on the podcast in December, there was a similar point that came up then about the huge valuations of Harvey and Lawgora, and they've only kept growing, as you've pointed out.
As you say, 11 billion valuation for Harvey in its latest, um, funding round, uh, and nearly 6 billion, um, for Lawgora.
And I think, um, you know, the point I made then and, and, and I think the point still stands now is that investors are hugely optimistic about the future demand and potential for AI, um, not only in the legal sector, but across, um, the whole economy.
You know, as I think we talked about last time, uh, an AI bubble, um, fears of an AI bubble seem to have waned and, you know, only in the press, um, yesterday we saw BlackRock and JP Morgan kind of play down, um, fears of an AI bubble saying that there isn't one and, and really that there's huge, um, faith and optimism in the, um, productive potential of AI.
Investors are confident, uh, and law firms and in-house teams keep signing up, uh, to deals with these two companies.
