different. So we always like to end the podcast with a nice, simple question for our interviewees.

And what I'd like to ask you, Garima, is what's the single most important thing that could be done right now to improve care for women with cardiovascular conditions in pregnancy?

I think the single most thing that can be done right now is being aware that they can be masked, and really operationalizing early risk stratification and long-term follow-up, um, in patients that have shown that the course of pregnancy leads to im- you know, increased risk in them.

I think that can be done now, and it can be done with, with a, with a ve- very scalable lens.

You could incorporate these risk stratification and lifestyle education, behavioral assessments every time you see the pregnant patient, uh, during the, you know, preconception, first, you know, first trimester, second trimester, and through the pregnancy continuum, and even postpartum.

I think really not losing that opportunity to engage patients and create that awareness.

So risk stratification, long-term care, and then really looking at the implementation science.

These sound like, like the messages, and the overall message I think is that it is time for this issue, more than past time in fact, for this issue to enter the mainstream of medical care.
