hello dreamers and welcome back to the show this is the third of a four-part series on the disappearance of barbara cotton if you haven't listened to parts one and two you're going to want to pause this here listen to episodes number 332 and 333 first and then come back to this one I again want to thank Anthony W. for introducing me to this case and to Kathy, Barb Cotton's sister.
I'd also like to thank Kathy for spending time talking with me every time I have questions about the minute details surrounding the events of Barb's disappearance and for trusting us with her story.
So let's get back to it.
In part two, we left off on the evening of Barb's disappearance and the morning after.
How Louise Cotton had made a number of calls the night that Barb was last seen, including a call to Barb's old friend Sandy, who hadn't really been that close to Barb for quite some time.
So she was surprised by that.
Louise would begin to provide law enforcement with leads, and she would continue to do so for weeks and even months following Barb's disappearance.
They were leads regarding Barb being at specific locations, as well as possibly having traveled to Montana with Stacy Werder, the alleged boyfriend.
However, I'll just put it out there right now that there is no evidence Barb ever left the state of North Dakota.
So we're going to go ahead and pick up our timeline from there.
