On this episode of On the Paige of Crime, we dive into the mysterious death of Kendrick Johnson—officially ruled an accident, but surrounded by questions that refuse to go away. From missing organs to…
No entities detected.
As I said, th- this case is just sickening.
I, I...
Thank you, Paige, for suggesting it.
Paige s- suggested, you know, our next episode to make it this case, and I watched the documentary yesterday and started to prepare for us today, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
I, I just couldn't believe my ears.
I couldn't believe that this is America.
I couldn't believe this is actually happening, and it's still happening.
It's still ongoing.
Mm-hmm.
Although this was 2013, there is still no, no justice in this case.
But what was it, Paige, that drew you to the case? Why did you suggest it?
Um, so I heard about this a few years ago.
Um, I believe it was a Morbid podcast.
And it's funny, like, my sister, my cousin, and I all fell, like, really invested into this case.
Um, I don't know if it's because of, like, him and I being the same age and just, you know, kind of putting myself in his shoes or, like, his classmates' shoes, um, and just the devastation of the whole entire case and, you know, the outcome still being unknown and his family not getting any justice.
Um-Yeah, it's, it's... [laughs] Like I was telling you earlier, I was like, "I don't know if I can discuss this case without, like, getting teary-eyed," because it literally just, it breaks my heart.
Yeah.
It does.
It really does.
Yeah.
And bitch besties, if you ever wanna suggest a case you want Paige and I to talk about, please slide in our comments.
You're welcome there.
[laughs] Let us know.
Yeah, do it.
We're happy to look into anything.
