Nir Peled on Turning Tragedy Into Transformation, One Percent at a Time

Hello, hello, all the world and everybody that is listening to us.

This is such a joy to be here.

[laughs]

Well, I gotta tell everybody, if, if you're privileged to be watching, not just listening, you see this amazing being in front of you that just radiates- Happiness and peace and love.

Joy.

So Nir, JOY is a wonderful three-letter acronym that stands for Journey Of You.

So we're gonna talk about your journey in a very simplified way, 'cause I want people to get right to you and taste how delicious you are.

So I'm gonna make everybody aware of the following.

Again, it's all in the show notes, but you gotta know this.

This amazing being has survived and gone through, and benefit from, benefited from seven catastrophic events, such as a bombing, an anaphylaxis event, a tsunami, a violent kidnapping, robbery in the Amazon basin, cancer, motorcycle accident, and a stroke that left him unable to move and speak.

Now you notice he is at the moment, so thank God.

As I said, these things all happened, some people say to him.

We're gonna explore these things happened for him, and I'm gonna tell you the best part about Nir.

In addition to the fact that he works for a remarkably wonderful company and he's authored a, an important book that people should be not just reading but utilizing, the best thing about Nir, in my humble opinion, married to a wonderful woman with a fabulous daughter.

That is what makes life worth living.

So Nir, with your permission, let's just jump right in and start.

[laughs] Now that I amazed everybody, say, "Wait a minute.

Is this humanly possible what we just talked about?" So the simple answer is yes.

Easy, easy to have surrendered in any one of these catastrophic events.

What is it about you or your situation, your mind, your heart, your being, that you said, "No, I'm going to not only persevere, I'm gonna rise above." What is it?

Uh, I don't think it was planned.

It happened.

The, the first, um, incident was the bee sting that knocked me out.

I found myself not able to breathe and helicopter away to, from the field with air tube in my mouth, and my life changed that day.

I was in a trajectory of having a, um, a career.
