I'm, uh, I'm excited to hear, uh, your story and, and what led you to do, you know, the amazing work that you're currently doing.

So why don't we start out, why don't you tell our listeners what it is you're actually doing and un- unravel how you got there?

Uh, well, what I'm doing now is, um, I have a small farm here in western North Carolina, and I have two horses currently.

[laughs] And, um, basically I just put people with horses and we see what happens.

Um, it's just people show up, and sometimes they have something they wanna work on or look at, or sometimes they might think they just wanna touch a horse.

Uh, so a lot of times I partner with therapists, and they bring their clients out here with me.

I also do some work for, um, a, a place called, um, The Heart of Horse Sense, and it's a farm out in Marshall.

And, um, they work with veterans and first responders and people of trauma, people with trauma.

Um, and it's all grant funded, so the folks that go out there don't have to pay for it.

Um, and we have, I think right now there's probably, I think, nine horses in the working herd.
