Paul warns the believers to watch out for people who looked the part, but lacked genuine fruit.

And as I read this chapter, I thought about what I call barking dogs, and that's what Paul refers to them to as well, barking dogs.

You know the voices, the people who always have something to say, the critics, the spectators, the people who are more concerned with appearances than they are transformation.

They have opinions about your calling, your parenting, your healing journey, your relationships, your decisions, your leadership, your purpose.

But the question Philippians 3 made me ask is, are these voices producing wisdom, fruit, and godly character, or are they simply producing noise? Some of us are carrying anxiety because we have given too many people access to our ears, and not every opinion deserves your attention.

And sometimes the loudest voices in our lives are the ones that have spent the least amount of time in prayer over us.

So if the, the voice you're listening to is causing confusion, fear, insecurity, or distraction, it may be time to mute it.

It may be time to go do a cleanse through your Facebook group, your Instagram, um, people that you're following, your TikTok, maybe even YouTube, and unsubscribe, because God cannot compete with noise we refuse to turn down.
