When you speak of healing, are you speaking of the healing that comes from the victim finding themselves and becoming more whole, or are you talking about healing of both the victim and the antagonist?
In their own journey, it's a decision that I believe each of us who's been through difficult things has to make about not wanting to stay stuck in whatever pattern we're experiencing.
In terms of, you know, the antagonist, as you called it, or the perpetrator or the abuser or whoever, or maybe it was a system of abusers, you cannot change somebody else.
You can't force them to take responsibility or accountability for what they've done.
So I think it's really up to each individual to choose healing for themselves and whatever they can do to support their own personal growth.
Writing the book and the album has been incredibly cathartic and transformative for me.
A lot of things have moved out of my body emotionally, and the integration of these experiences came through the writing process, which was incredibly powerful, which is why I encourage people to do their own writing and journaling, which is a big part of the book.
But I would say that the things that I've been through and the reality of my life is that I will have to... you know, face the reality of what I've been through for the rest of my life.
