Now, I think it's tempting to believe that the facts or the scoreboard creates your state of mind.

You know, the spreadsheet, the scoreboard, the data, the facts, they give you information.

And this is a huge distinction that I think is very, very easy to make, to miss.

You know, a forecast might be predicting where the business is going, but it doesn't measure your thinking.

And that's why two people can look at identical facts, but experience entirely different realities because our experience doesn't come directly from circumstances.

It actually comes from the meaning that our minds create around those circumstances.

And that's why the exact same numbers or data can feel like a catastrophe one month, But another month, it might just seem just like a simple challenge or not necessarily even a simple challenge, a challenge to solve.

And what's the difference between one month and the next? Nothing really except the quality of mind looking at the information, at the data, at the facts.

And if that's the case, I think it's very exciting because meaning and our minds are meaning makers, like meaning is certainly within our control.
