In this episode, Steve and Magic Mike discuss the nuances of bodybuilding competition prep, the impact of venue and staging on performance, and strategies for injury prevention and nutrition during…
And the show started at 10 and they wanted, I think they had all the guys stuff done by about one.
So, yeah, anyway, so turned up and got there at like half nine to see where Rob was.
I thought it was in the Shore Theater, but when I got there, that was locked and shut.
So I went into the hotel and I was like, is there a bodybuilding show somewhere? Yeah.
yes it was in the hotel itself so it was a bit obviously not built for bodybuilding shows and well no venue is so yeah the tanning area was pretty compact and the backstage area was very compact so you're kind of a bit on top of one another but anyway yeah it was great to be at the show with Rob because it's been years and obviously we're good friends anyway so to be able to be there support him yeah I don't know if you want to say anything because I've already rambled a ton

And also the OCB, they have this, they actually announced this and they have this general thing and probably OCB competitors will be able to talk to this.
They don't move you around as if it's like the top three in the middle, for example, they just throw you around all over the shop.
rob was never in the middle of the stage he was always like on the sides which just made me a bit nervous that maybe it was like that he was maybe getting overlooked or whatever so anyway i don't know where i'm going with this uh yeah and so what i was saying is as I was backstage with Rob the whole time, essentially.
And we're trying to gauge timings he was going to be on, looking at who's on stage right now.
So I didn't really get a gauge of how competitive it was, how it ran or anything, because I was...
