So instead, President Lee talks about first stopping further advances in North Korea's nuclear and missile capabilities, uh, then reducing those capabilities, and eventually moving towards a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula.
So maybe the South Korean government view, uh, seems to be that, uh, if you demand a denuclearization, uh, before even starting talks with North Korea, you may never get them back to the table.
And so at least in the initial stage, uh, they want to put denuclearization aside and start with a freeze.
