Well, I think, I think, uh, it kind of goes back to the, the day be- the day before it all went down, so-
Mm-hmm

... we were in Texas, um, over at Ranch Ferries, and it was the last evening, which the last couple years now we've been doing, like, gun season, where-
Mm-hmm

And so we got done shooting that day, shooting bo- our bows, and we'd actually spent a fair amount of time tweaking my rest, um, just trying to get a little bit better arrow flight.
So much time, in fact, that, uh, we made a full video about it that is on the Ranch Ferry channel, [laughs] if you want to check it out-
... about tuning Zach's bow that you'll learn about in a second.

... we, so we are like, "I'm feeling good about that." I, you know, kept shooting a few shots.

And I mean, just for reference, it wasn't way out of whack, but I was noticing that if I changed broadheads, they weren't shooting exactly the same, which typically when the bow's tuned, I've been able to throw any of the same weight broadhead on my arrow, and it hits exactly like my field point.

It was only, like, that much, but it was consistently, like, a couple inches off.

But I remember shooting after we did the tuning video With different broadheads, and it's like, all right, that's, that's looking really good.

Nick's cooking and, and having filmed this, this video, video, and I was thinking about all the past years where I get caught up hanging out, talking, and, like, just, you know, doing too much and never actually packing my stuff until it's, like, last minute, whether that be the day, you know, in the, in the morning early when we're leaving or late at night when everybody's, you know, gone to sleep, I'm usually packing.

So I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna get all my stuff put away, pack, you know, pack everything ready to rock so that way I can minimize what I gotta do tonight and in the morning.

So packed my bow all up, got my bow in there, my release, my arrows, my big box of broadheads, and whatever other, you know, accessory things I threw in there.
