#322 - TOUGHEST places to turkey hunt?!?

I'm running errands, and I'm a little stressed out at the moment because turkey season opens next week.

And yesterday, Graham acted like he might be interested in going.

Up to this point, it's been like, no, not really.

But yesterday, he kind of had a little spark where he was like, You know, where do you shoot a mat in the head again? In the little bubbly part? I was like, yep.

He's like, oh, okay.

Do I get to miss school? And I was like, maybe, a little bit.

Oh, okay.

So then that perked his ears up a little bit.

And the whole time I said, who wants to go turkey hunting? Miles is over there with his hand raised in the air, you know.

Because he really wants to go, obviously.

But he's already got a chance to go and get a bird.

And Graham's never went before.

So, Graham gets first priority, obviously.

But now he's wanting to go.

Anyway, long story short, it's really, it's been super difficult for me to find places to take him.

Like, Anywhere around my house, within an hour of the house, we go up to the farm, which people watch on the videos all the time.

But outside of that, we don't really have, I mean, I think me and Miles sent out close to 30 letters trying to get private land permission a year or two ago.

Yeah.

And we might have got a response back on two or three of them.

And it was either the ground's already leased or the people hunted it or we don't allow any hunting.

Don't ask again.

You know, one of those types of deals.

it's been it's been pretty difficult i mean miles killed a turkey over on my neighbor's property a couple years ago which was his first long beard and i was super thankful that she let us hunt she actually lets number of other people hunt and she just has like 40 acres there and turkeys don't stay on her place they just they come through there every once in a while

Yeah.

And we just happened to get lucky on a day when one was there and, you know, got him killed.
