If you go, if you can, or, you know, if you've got nothing else, you know, if you got time, but like, it's just one of the things like hunting with Roy and, and Cole last year, we went on a fairly long trip together and, um, I feel like I kind of tried to influence their...

Knowing that they're a little younger and knowing how I was when I was a little younger, kind of trying to influence them in a way that was like, hey, it's okay if we get our rest.

Just recognizing certain times when that... uh is more in your favor like for example if the weather is really really good and you can see that it's going to be pretty steady for the next seven days you're at the beginning of a trip and you get there and day one you hear birds gobble the whole time you know first light throughout the day you know obviously there's going to be an ebb and flow of that gobbling um You know how much they're doing it throughout the day, but if they're gobbling throughout the day and the weather's staying the same, they're probably going to keep doing that.

So if you do feel like you need to take a little bit of a breather and take a day where you sleep in a little bit more or...

You know, you don't, I don't know, like if you've traveled a little bit more and, you know, maybe you jumped spots or you jumped, you know, from one public area to another and you get there late or you stayed up too late making dinner.

they've been gobbling and the weather's good just trust that don't kill yourself because i know from experience killing you know that oh i got four hours of sleep last night but i gotta get up for the first thing tomorrow morning and doing that day in and day out day in and day out you are going to end up being miserable or making bad decisions that could affect your hunt or make you run out of gas or whatever.

As long as we put enough effort into it, we're probably going to bump into something goblin because they've been doing it
and they're going to keep doing it.
I
general.
I think that mindset especially helps, um, when you're hunting late season, when you're hunting that latter half of May, those days are so long, especially if you go on a trip and you catch excellent, like you said, if you catch excellent weather for four, five straight days and you're on day one or two of that trip, When you've got good weather that last part of May, the day lasts forever.
So you've got time.
You can take a nap or whatever, and you're not going to miss too much.
And it seems that things are usually going on pretty good.
If you've got the good weather, it's happening at any time of day.
