The Horseshoe is heading across the pond! The Colts and Commanders meet in London with both teams sitting at 1-2 and looking for a massive Week 4 win. Before we dive into the matchup, we hit some of…
All right, well, before we get into the game, we've got a couple things from around the league that have to do with the Colts that we want to bring up today.
First one is going to be the no fun league strikes again.
Before we get into this matchup, we've got to talk about something that's been floating around the past couple weeks that at least to me and Tom doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense here.
And that's we've seen multiple players, Matt Gonzalez being one of them, for the tune of $8,000 being fined for mimicking drinking celebrations after guys get touchdowns.
I think in this case, it was Gonzalez doing the old beer chug after a Tyler Warren tutty and $8,000 later.
This doesn't make any sense, man.
The NFL is known for being a bunch of dudes.
I hate to say it.
Forgive me if that sounds sexist.
For sitting in the stands, sitting in front of their TV, cracking a cold beer, having a drink, watching football.
So the idea that somehow a grown man on the field mimicking something totally legal that is is allowed and is embraced by the NFL and its fans is somehow worth an $8,000 fine.
Buddy, if we're going to be worried about what players and refs are doing on the field to this degree, I'd rather we took all this attention and just moved over to paying professional referees.
Can we stop fining guys for doing that?
Christopher, if you walk into any stadium in the NFL, and I've only been to a couple, there are beer sponsors plastered everywhere.
All right? You go to Lucas Oil Stadium, it's Bud Light.
They have the Bud Light Zone.
It's our favorite area to sit at when we go to Colts games because during breaks, halftime, whatever, you can go up to the Bud Light Zone, hang out.
It's open.
People are mingling.
There's tables.
You can still see the game from up there.
It's a great spot.
But it's the Bud Light Zone.
OK, the Bears Stadium.
