And you know what happened then? I had a nightmare and in the nightmare, we were in Tammy's backyard again and we were digging in that dirt and we hit that jet black soil and we figured out that we had opened the door to hell and the devil was looking at us.
And in the nightmare, just at that moment, where we had discovered that we had opened the gates of hell, a red hand comes thrusting up through the dirt, just like in any really bad horror movie, and grabs me around the ankles and pulls me down into hell.
And then the next thing I know, I'm face to face with the devil, only it's not some evil, scary devil.
It's Hot Stuff, the little red devil from the comic books.
Oh, my God.
I don't know if you're familiar with Hot Stuff, the Little Red Devil, from comic book fame, but he is like the least scary devil of all time.
He's kind of a cheerful little guy, and he's very friendly.
I survived my nightmare because I did not face Lucifer or Beelzebub or any of those evil versions of the devil.
My devil was Hot Stuff, the Little Red Devil.
