And the other thing I didn't account for that's been very activating and triggering in this process is the visibility of it.

And anytime you upgrade in life, you're going to have visibility, whether that's getting a promotion at work, whether that's stepping into a great relationship because the best relationships require you to be the most vulnerable and the most authentic relationship.

whether that's starting a business and like having to do social media and content, like all these things are so exposing, right? And so when you're exposing yourself more and when you're being more vulnerable, that's going to take more energy out of your nervous system because it's out of its comfort zone, right? So for me, I show up every day online and, you know, I can talk to an audience.

It's been the visibility of not just the wedding, but the celebration in the process and like having people show up for you.

Like I've been up front about how I didn't want a bridal shower and a bachelorette party.

oh my god did it make me cringe like thinking of inviting people to these things so like even like my bachelorette was a compromise because my girls were like what are we gonna do and at first I was like oh no no no nothing it's okay just the wedding's enough like don't worry and then they were they're very good girlfriends and they're like no we're gonna do something so we agreed to keep it small it was just me and the four of them which was nice and and lovely and then even the bridal shower you know my mother-in-law insisted and and both of them were wonderful I'm so glad I did it.

But leading up to it, it was the fear of like, oh my God, I have to ask people to come.

It was just, man, I didn't realize that that was still a thing for me, that visibility wound.

And again, this is why living life and doing things is so important is because you don't realize till you're in the situation, till you're in the moment that So that has not only expanded me, but it's required me to double down on my regulation more, like making sure I'm doing the things that keep me grounded, but then also giving myself grace to have some meltdowns because boy, boy, have I had some meltdowns.
