So a couple things I wanna start out with before we talk about flavor and grilling your food properly.
Whether you are using a gas grill, a charcoal grill, you are using a Blackstone or a smoker, know your grill.
[laughs] I'm laughing saying this as someone who does not like to read the manual.
Everyone's grill is different, and it's important to know things like where the hot spots are on your grill.
This is a, your grill will work better and be non-stick if you clean it after every use.
This is a tip that my cousin gave me when we were visiting her on the East Coast of Florida.
Because it's warm here most of the year, she does a ton of grilling, which is a habit we got into once we got our grill as well.
It's a little bit of an investment up front, maybe 60, 70 bucks to get that other propane tank.
But if you're always just refilling one propane tank, you always have another one to bring in, so you're never actually running out of propane as long as you remember to refill the spare one.
So know your grill, keep it clean, and keep an extra propane tank if you are using a gas grill.
When you go ahead and start your grill, we're gonna talk about gas specifically, then we'll ta- talk about charcoal.
It's a little bit different if you're using, like, a Blackstone or a Green Egg or a smoker.
