And it's not because I think she was saying, oh, you're smarter than everyone else.

It's because it reminded me something of something that I have known for many, many, many years.

I learned long, long ago, long before I ever had this mentorship and coaching business.

Those of you who know me know my story there, but information is not what changes people.

And I know that sounds simple and maybe even it kind of sounds cliche when you first hear it, but think about it.

They've done the same assignments, right? And some students walk away saying, I get it.

The difference was whether those students felt understood enough, felt connected enough and safe enough and engaged enough for the information to actually mean something to them.

The older I get and the more women I help, the more I know the same thing is true about our health.

Women don't come to me because they need a whole bunch more different information, new information.

Most women, in fact, The women I work with, they know more about nutrition than the average person ever will.

And it's not because I think she was saying, oh, you're smarter than everyone else.
