The GOAT District High-Stakes Fantasy Football Show

Four weeks of football is just enough data to separate what's real from what's noise. JD is joined by Yahoo's Scott Pianowski, Dan Williamson and Mason Spain to sort the fire from the smoke after…
Yeah, I th- I think that's kind of why we saw Pickens go where he was going, and I know I've got Pickens on...
I can't remember if it was a main or, or a big gorilla, and it's because he's my two behind Chase, you know? And, and I think it got uncomfortable when you start a running back and then it comes back and Pickens is sitting there.
Even if he fell as, as a, at a bit of a value, it's like, "Do I want this guy to be my wide receiver one?" And then you almost have to believe that he's...
You know, Mason, you talk about this.
Is he the receiver one in that offense? Dan, maybe I'll let you add a bit, uh, after.
Maybe let, let Mason give his thoughts on the Cowboys and then we'll, we'll go back to you if you have anything to add on Pickens
PickensI tweeted back on August 22nd that I didn't want any of the Cowboys receivers, which seemed crazy 'cause they're both amazing players.
I looked up the number of times a team had two receivers both catch 100 balls in a season, which is what they were being drafted to do.
In the, in the list of teams is the '95 Lions with Herman Moore and Brett Perriman, 2000 Broncos with Ed McCaffrey, Rod Smith, the '05 Cardinals with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, the '14 Broncos with Demaryius Thomas, RIP, and Emmanuel Sanders, and the 2018 Steelers with JuJu and Antonio Brown.
And I thought that it is very good probability that Dallas could join tho- that list, but that's not a bet I'm making.
So if they can't both catch 100 passes, and there is a real thought before we saw the start of the season, there was a lot of talk is George Pickens may be the 1A and CeeDee may be the 1B.
So I'm thinking there's a chance that either player will pay off their ADP, but not both.
So if I choose one, I feel like it's a 50/50 shot, and I'm not willing to make a fantasy pick on a 50/50 shot.
So the only share of either I have is in a main event I took Kenneth Walker in the first round around 1.09, 'cause I knew I had to have a share of Kenneth Walker, and then CeeDee Lamb fell to the 2.04, and Justin Jefferson went at the 2 point...
There's no question between Jefferson and Jordan Addison, but we were having that conversation about CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
So I only took CeeDee Lamb 'cause Justin Jefferson went off the board, and it turns out that I got very lucky in that regard because my other option was, you know, taking young Devin Achane or, or Derrick Henry, and I'm gl- I got plenty of Henry in the late second round.
So I'm very, very glad I did get one share of CeeDee Lamb despite the fact that I tweeted in August it's just too big of a minefield to choose between the two.
