Often, you know, I quote the Bible and it says that the body is the temple of your spirit is the modern day interpretation.
But if we go back to the origin of the word temple, it's really talking about a cathedral.
And like any good cathedral, it needs a good foundation and constant renovation and repair, right? So today I'm really excited to be hitting on these topics.
Like how do we maintain physical health? How do we continue ovarian health? Because these are markers of healthy, optimal aging for longevity, for brain health, for, you know, living the life that we so want to be living.
And for me, I look at, you know, um, I don't know how many days that we have on the earth, but for every day that we have, however many days God gives us, let them be as healthy and as vital and as purposeful as possible.
cutting edge technologies in the sphere of longevity, but also some of the traditional wisdom.
And when it comes down to it, one of the most important factors is actually our mindset, actually our mindset.
So today on the Girlfriend Doctor podcast, I am excited to share with you someone who's kind of lived both sides of this story.
Bettina Gordon Wayne spent over 30 years as an international journalist interviewing world leaders, billionaires, and global experts.
She was always the one asking the questions until life handed her a story she couldn't observe from a distance.
Becoming a first-time mom at 44 years old and then facing a breast cancer diagnosis when her son was just four years old, she turned her investigative mind toward one question.
Can we actually reverse biological age? When we think about aging, we have two ages, right? Chronicological age and biological age.
So chronicologic age, the, you know... established by our birth certificate, but biological age has many other factors.
What she discovered didn't just change her health, it transformed her entire life.
And today she is eight years cancer-free, biologically younger than her chronical age by 12 years, if I may spill the beans on that.
