Jun 4, 2026 · 38 min · 10 segments
Why do so many coaches hit the goal they worked so hard for - only to feel restless, disconnected, or still hungry for more? In this episode of *The Gates in Real Life*, Melissa and Heidi explore…
Yeah.
But first a little context as per usual.
So yeah, so gate 35, the gate of, I was called the gate of change.
And this gate is in the throat center.
And the last few episodes have been the throat center gates.
And so if you've listened to some of those previous episodes, you learned that each of the gates in the throat have a particular like voice.
And the voice here in gate 35 is I feel or I experience.
And what it usually feels or experiences is a desire for change, right? It's wired for that progress and for experiences, right? and for kind of constantly moving through life, collecting those experiences and stories.
And then through Ajinkya's perspective, hunger is the shadow of this gate.
And not, kind of like Heidi was saying, you're still hungry for more.
So it's not hungry like for food, like I need a snack, but like a why am I not satisfied kind of hunger.
And so there's like a very, a deep restlessness at this frequency.
Yeah.
Yeah.
As I'm sure we can all relate to.
The shift from the shadow to the gift of adventure then changes the focus on the experiences that we have.
So like we're not just collecting them, we're learning from them so that we have that lived wisdom that we can then share with others.
Yeah.
And then the highest frequency of this gate is boundlessness, which means no boundaries.
And so when thinking of no boundaries, that kind of creates a little bit of a challenge in like describing it because it can't be described by the mind because the mind is what creates boundaries in the first place.
So like most of the cities, kind of beyond our current level of comprehension, at least with our minds.
But it's always fun to try to get close, and that's why we have these conversations.
Yeah.
