The Garage Door Installers Podcast
Jul 6, 2026 · 6 min · 6 segments
A slight change on this weeks episode. Our interview with Aaron wasn't quite ready to go so a slight rambling update of whats gone before and whats coming up. Apologies but I wanted to get the Aaron…
So firstly, I wanted to start with the reason I started the podcast was in the UK that there wasn't one at all.
We didn't have anything as a voice for installers.
This wasn't here to sell anything.
I wanted to just share ideas, give my opinion on the industry.
Speak to installers, manufacturers.
Hopefully we've got a lot more of that to come.
Help raise the standards within the industry and help make everyone that's listening become better business owners.
There's a huge amount that goes into running a garage door business.
You've got quoting, actually making a profit, all the members of your team, sales, marketing, customer service.
There's a huge amount to think about and I just hope everyone can take something from each of the episodes.
If you can take out one little bite-sized chunk, then for me that makes it worthwhile.
I've been doing this for over 20 years, so there'll be plenty of people that know a lot more than me, and there's plenty that won't know as much, but hopefully everyone will be able to take something from these episodes.
