Why Narcissists LOVE Chaos…Here’s What They Get From It
Well, one of the biggest reasons why narcissists absolutely love chaos is because when there's chaos, they're able to get control.
See, when things are quiet, things are peaceful, the narcissist doesn't have any control when it's peaceful.
But when there's upheaval, when there's fighting, when there's drama, the narcissist can control that drama because they always have to show their dominance and show that they're superior.
They have to show you that you're wrong and they're right.
And here's the irony with the narcissist.
So many of them will sit there and say, "You know, I'm not about the drama.
I'm not about the drama," or they'll talk about their exes and say, "You know, they were all about the drama.
They were too much drama." Meanwhile, it was the narcissist who's all about the drama.
Not only that, a narcissist wants to keep you off balance.
They don't want you to be at peace.
They want you to be on edge.
And why again is that? Because when you're on edge, they can control the situation.
This is another reason why we say the narcissist is demonic.
They're not about peace, joy, happiness, love.
No, they're about upheaval, chaos, confusion, fighting.
So any time you're with a narcissist, nothing is gonna be peaceful.
The only time it's peaceful is maybe in the very beginning during the love bombing stages because they're trying to fool you, and they're trying to make you think they're so easy to deal with.
Yeah, narcissists are always trying to make you...
When they first get with you, they try to make you think, oh, they're so easy.
They're so accommodating, right? The narcissist was so accommod- accommodating in the beginning.
"Oh, we could go here.
Oh, yeah, you wanna do that? Sure.
Oh, we could do that.
