Hello, and welcome back to the Freshfields Nowhere Soft podcast.

I'm Lindsay, head of London restructuring here at Freshfields, and today I'm really thrilled to be joined by my colleagues, Sally and Evie, for what is going to be a slightly different episode today.

So no real restructuring content here, no technical content.

This is inspired by an iWork event that Sally and Evie spoke at earlier in the year.

And it's all about how professionals, and particularly those in the earlier stages of their career, can build confidence, enhance their communication skills and develop a strong professional presence.

So a bit of a disclaimer at the start, which is that our opinions are our own and we don't profess to have all the answers, but hopefully through sharing some of our thoughts and experiences, it will be of interest to people.

And especially, as I say, to more junior colleagues in the industry.

I'm Sally, a senior associate in the restructuring team, and I'm really looking forward to discussing this topic with you both today.

I'm Evie, a first year solicitor apprentice here at Freshfields, currently sitting with the restructuring and insolvency team.

It's an absolute privilege to be part of this conversation as we delve into the topic of finding your voice.
