So this report is really a call for government to invest more in helping UK farmers adapt to climate change and grow more of the fruit and vegetables we can grow here to make sure we've got a secure supply of healthy staple foods.
And we have one of the lowest food self-sufficiency ratios among Western European countries and a significantly higher import dependence than France, Germany or Spain.
And as a result of importing a high proportion of its food from overseas, the UK is actually particularly vulnerable to food price shocks.
So in recent years, we've seen these occur due to climate change, but also due to political instability and volatile global markets.
And one in six households with children are already experiencing food insecurity, especially And during food price spikes, we know people also tend to cut down on purchases of healthy food like fruit and veg.
