In today's FittBite, we break down how a sportswear brand could reach its first $100,000 in revenue by building around one hero product instead of launching a full collection. The FittBite covers…

if i had to build an active brand and generate a hundred thousand dollars in revenue this is what i would do i wouldn't start off by designing an entire collection from the scratch i would build my core collection around one product in three colorways and i would reverse engineer what it would take to get to a hundred thousand dollars in sales So let's just say I'm in the running niche and I pick a running short to start with.

I would launch that in three colorways and in order to get to that $100,000 mark, if we work backwards, we're looking at an average retail price of $78, around 1,283 pairs of shorts that I need to sell, which comes out to almost 107 per month, which comes out to three or four per day that I need to track in order to get to the desired result.

By breaking it down like this, we take a sort of large task and we make it much more manageable, much more palatable to make it much more achievable.

So in today's episode, I'm going to be running you through the strategy of the hero product and how you can use the strategy of the hero product to mitigate the risk that you're going to have getting into any business, how to identify what a hero product is, how to make sure that the hero product that you pick for your business makes sense, and how you can use your hero product to then scale into building a full brand and collection that can compete with the best of them.

I've been making videos about sportswear for the last 10 years, and I've learned a thing or two about what it takes to build a brand from zero and how to launch it and how to scale it.

I can do this and I know this because not only have I been making videos, I've also been working with brands that have consistently generated tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue every single year.

I observe them, I have communication with the founders directly, and I've learned what it takes to actually build a long-term apparel business in the sportswear space.

So if you're interested in how to do it on your own, you wanna take that first step, then this is going to be the episode for you.
