**Guided Visualisation: Sight Awareness** A gentle guided visualisation to bring you into the present moment through sight, part of a series connecting you with each of your senses. With eyes open…
No entities detected.
So I want you to begin by sitting comfortably and gently let your eyes rest on your surroundings.
Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow yourself to just fully arrive in this moment.
Now, with your eyes open, I want you to look around the room.
What do you see? Take a moment to really just observe your surroundings.
Notice every small detail as if you're seeing it for the first time.
What colors stand out to you? Perhaps they're soft, neutral tones or bold, vibrant shades.
Let your eyes rest on the colors for a moment, just noticing how they make you feel.
If there's a window in view, look outside.
Do you see the sky? Is it bright and clear, or are there clouds drifting by? Maybe there's a slight smear on the glass, or you can see the delicate pattern of raindrops.
Just simply notice without judgment, without trying to fix anything.
Just be present with what you see.
Now, shift your gaze to something nearby.
Maybe it's the texture of the carpet beneath your feet or the pattern of your wallpaper.
Look closely.
Notice the intricate details, the weave, the colors, the lines.
And as you continue to observe, you might notice your mind wandering into thoughts, a- and that's perfectly okay.
Just acknowledge the thoughts gently, but don't hold onto them.
Allow them to drift by like clouds in the sky, and bring your focus back to what you can see around you.
Notice the way the light falls in the room.
Is it bright, or are there soft shadows? Take in the way the light and shadow dance across the surfaces.
Now allow your gaze to soften and take in the whole room once more.
You are fully present, aware of your surroundings, connected to the world around you.
Let this sense of awareness bring you back to your body, grounded and calm, and in the moment.
