**Guided Visualisation: Smell Awareness** A gentle guided visualisation to bring you into the present moment through smell, part of a series connecting you with each of your senses. This practice…
No entities detected.
Start by taking a slow, deep breath in, and this time, gently shift your attention to your nose.
Become aware of the air as it flows in and out of your nostrils.
What can you smell? Allow your nose to take in the scents around you.
If you're at home, perhaps you notice the subtle scent of fresh laundry, the aroma of something cooking in the kitchen, or a hint of perfume lingering on your skin.
Simply notice each smell as it comes to you.
If you are somewhere else, maybe you can catch the scent of different foods, the earthy smell of freshly cut grass, or even the clean, crisp scent of the air itself.
Whatever it is, allow your nose to be your guide.
Take a moment to really experience each scent.
Notice how you breathe in, how the air flows gently through your nostrils, carrying these smells to your brain where they are recognized and processed.
As you breathe out, imagine clearing space for more, more scents, more awareness, more connection.
Now notice how the air feels as it moves up your nostrils.
Is it cool? Warm? Does it feel light or heavy as it moves through your body? With each breath, you are taking in the world around you, becoming more and more aware of how each scent influences your state of mind and body.
Allow your breath to flow naturally, taking in the scents, processing them, and releasing them.
There's no need to rush.
Just be present with each inhale, each exhale, and the way your body engages with the air and the smells around you.
When you feel ready, gently shift your focus back to your body, bringing with you this heightened sense of awareness and connection.
