Why should I be the one who has to change? Why do I feel like I carry so much of the relationship? Why does it seem like I care more than he does?
In talking about this, I think one of the things that needs to come out is that this is our perception.
But a lot of times when we feel like we have to do it all, we're sometimes discounting what they do or taking it for granted.
I know for me, when I've been gone, which isn't that often, and I come back, and I'll say to Bob, is the house tidy? He says, yeah, it looks great.
And he hasn't done this or he hasn't done that, but he says, I don't see anything.
So it might seem like I care more than he does, but he has a little bit different tolerance for standards than I do.
So if I want it the way I want it, I've learned I just have to put it the way I want it.

Well, what's interesting about what you just shared is that you, and I think every woman can probably pick a category that they relate to with this topic.
