Before we dive into the heart of the home, since this is episode one, can you explain for those listening that aren't maybe sure or not entirely familiar with a domestic goddess? What does that mean?
President of the United States doesn't have a bed in there where he sleeps.
They like to go back to a place where they feel that they can rest, they can eat, they can they can vent, they can do all those things.
So that place, whether it's a palace or a regular home or an apartment or a tent, is that atmosphere that women most usually are in charge of because we're good at it.
So it's the art of learning how to be good at creating atmosphere because it has to be created really every day, recreated, because things happen in our lives.
And it has to be created with atmosphere and with organization, with all of it.
And we can learn to be very good at it so that people who come into our homes feel comfortable, welcome, that they also, even if they're not a member of the family, they feel like they can relax there and accepted there.

When I hear the term domestic goddess, I think of kind of like, it sounds so kind of exaggerated.

Do you think a lot of women are probably perhaps thinking that just like I am when they hear domestic goddess?
So probably if you do, then there's probably, it's sort of like a goal that you're reaching for that you hope one day to get sort of close to it.

What I love about doing this as a series is when I was first learning about the domestic goddess, I kind of thought about it as one thing.

But I think what's great about breaking it down is that you can find that perhaps you are really, really amazing at one or two things.
