Justina PoskeviciuteHostAnd that phrase, not only was it very correct, you know, I think, but that saying, now to have seen I'm responsible for I was thinking about it more recently and, you know, three years into what should be called correctly a live stream genocide.
That saying, I need to change it or we can change it, right? Because now we have all seen.
And I know if you're watching this, it's very likely you're speaking out, you're doing what you can.
You know, I know many people are donating, supporting families, like organizing, like so people do so much.
So I'm not here to say, you know, are doing anything because very likely you are.
But also what I want to say, you know, it doesn't matter if you knew more or less about Palestine from before, like was actually my case, the last three years, seeing these horrors, seeing horrors you probably never thought you would see in your life, very likely, there's no way it wouldn't have a very strong impact on anyone who's watching, I'm sure.
Unless your indoctrination and the dehumanization of Palestinians is complete, and then you don't care, okay? You're probably not in my audience then.
And so these three years, I was thinking, we have to allow, we have to allow this experience, these horrors... to shape us.
We saw a new reality emerge You know, the horrors themselves, how our leaders have shown up and by showing up in what ways, how they create a new reality that we're seeing now we're seeing now we see it clearly.
We also, we have to allow like a new us, you know, you have to allow a new you to emerge.
And I think inevitably, or hopefully, that new you is less apologetic, is maybe more straightforward.
Because what's the opposite? I have to say, I just wrote an article and I called it the machine that swallows children.
Like it's one and what that machine does to the actual bodies of children.
