Today, I'm joined by Ismail Amla, who has spent more than 35 years in business consulting and the IT services industries, including leadership positions at NCR, IBM Global Business Services, and Accenture.

Ismail sits on several boards, including the Network Rail, and is a fellow at the University of Salford Business School.

Ismail is also the co-author of the book, From Incremental to Exponential, How Large Companies Can See the Future and Rethink Innovation.

Ismail, I kind of wanted to jump into something that we talked about ourselves before the show.

And I was thinking about it and I haven't really touched on it in the podcast today.

And it's kind of diversity and identity.

And you spoke to me a bit about, you know, you spent a decade in New York and then you moved back to the UK.

And it's only as you got older and more wise in your years that you started to think a bit more about identity and diversity and how that fits in.

Can you talk to me a little bit about that space? Because I'm really interested to kind of understand it from your perspective and how you see the world and how the world sees you as a serious professional in the technology space.
