Looking, you know, ahead to this season, obviously a lot of new names and a lot of new faces coming in, but a lot of, you know, people who have been at the club in the past.
Couple of lean seasons for the club, um, in terms of missing finals.
How, how as a team do you go about, you know, um, you know, rebuilding, you know, that connection you got, you had working together with everyone to, you know, get the club back to where it, you know, at, in the club's words, deserves to be, which is finals and competing for trophies?
Yeah, I think it's interesting, like, deserving to be somewhere is not a given thing.
So obviously after years and years of success, you know, every season is, is a fresh season, and you don't deserve to be in finals or lifting trophies without putting in the work.
So I think our philosophy is, you know, really putting in the work and not thinking we deserve to be places, but earning it.
Um, building connections, building friendships, um, being leaders, being learners as well.
And I think, uh, Sydney had a great run for a few years, and maybe it, it can be taken for granted, but every season, every day you have to turn up and earn, uh, what, what you're, what you're gaining.
And whether that's trophies or that's three points on the weekend, you have to show up to every, every day and, yeah, put yourself in that position to, to be successful.
