Ellie LeonardGuestWe were all texting yesterday when Michelle decided to drop this little bomb on us that she had seen a Guardian
about how Brendan Carr, who, parenthetically, is only in his 40s, which I can't- 47.
Every time I look at him, I'm like, really, dude? Like, you've had some hard living because you do not look 47.
Brendan Carr, the chair of the FCC, whose name you typically would not know because who knows the chairman of the FCC's name, was in a weird sex cult.
But this is the man who's now telling Jimmy Kimmel and everybody else how they should behave on television.

And the importance of, not the importance, but the censorship that goes on based on uh personalities and and what people think our family values or should not be on your television set so obviously that has gone you know steroid level under the Trump administration as we start to see like Jimmy Kimmel being pulled from the air and James Tallarico's all his interviews being pulled offline and having to go to YouTube and like you know all these fights with like Disney and and And so we have this guy who, you know, he's got his own little chapter in Project 2025.

He's a team player, he's loyalty or die for the Trump administration, but he was actually the FCC guy for other administrations too.

but now we have this you know nine year romp in in an alcoholics anonymous meeting which is not you know people are in alcoholics anonymous for nine years that's not wildly strange but um supposedly this one was like formed by high school kids parents which i think is a little out of the ordinary and then it became one of those situations where aa was sort of the cover and and it sounded very epstein-y it sounded like a mini little epstein club it was girls being told what to eat, what to dress, being hooked up with older men.

But when I hear that, then I just go, I think of every man in the Epstein files who was the safe space hanging out at Epstein's house for 30 years.

yeah and and there is a part of the story where uh a lot of the young people who were interviewed for this story were former members and i think some of them were a little more realistic about the realities of it uh than the others that's just my opinion um but there was um there's one in particular this woman said that he was the safe person he would sneak me fries because these older men or one in particular who ran the group really liked thin teenage girls.
