A couple of years ago, I had a perfectly normal family.
Mom, dad, family dinners, silly fights over who forgot to take out the trash, weekend getaways.
And then dad left.
He found another woman.
She had a daughter my age.
Maybe adults would say, these things happen.
But to me, it was like dad didn't just replace his wife.
He replaced me too.
From that day on, I stopped talking to him.
Even though the court said we had to see each other once a month and spend time together.
