Georgia vs Western Kentucky Preview: Whiteout Game in Athens

First things first, it's going to be one of these things where this game is looked at and it will be remembered for the whiteout history is being made in Athens, Georgia, Saturday between the hedges.

White helmets, white jerseys, white pants, white shoes, everything.

Going a little bit off the tradition side of things, not the silver bridges that we're used to.

But what does this mean for Georgia moving forward? I look at this as a sign of Kirby and the football program and, honestly, the athletics department adapting with the times, especially where football is your driver for really a lot of revenue and financing.

Some things you just have to do, right? So kudos to everybody involved.

That took and subscribed to Glory Glory right during the offseason.

You know, this isn't possible without that help from the fan base.

Right.

Kirby challenged us as fans.

We delivered our part of the deal.

Subscriber tripling the subscriber count for Glory Glory.

And then, you know, now Saturday, we're about to see history be made.

So it's.

I'm looking forward to it.

I'm sure the whiteout will be fun to watch too, right, with the dress code, if you will, being white.

You know, Onward Reserve and Nike, you know, had actual apparel being made for this game specifically.

I thought that's very interesting, right? But, again, it is the change of the times.

This isn't your old traditional 1990s Georgia anymore.

You just can't do it with the scope of college football, where it's at and where it's going.

But I do think this will be another opportunity for Georgia to flex its muscles, take and build from week one.

A little bit stiffer competition, I would say.
