Kim PetersGuestSarah KruseHostHaley GibsonHostSo what, what typically like If you have a patient who comes in and like maybe their labs come back good, but they're still not feeling well, why is that? And what's your approach with

It plays a huge role in how we feel, how we sleep, our metabolism, our body composition, fat versus muscle, whether we sweat at night, whether we feel anxious, the list goes on.

So is it normal for a woman who is past 30 years old, maybe has had a couple of kids, to have a testosterone level of maybe like 20? Yes, absolutely.

And that's as a primary care provider, that was if it fell into that range, you know, you get in a range and then you get a number.

Sometimes the way I explain it to patients is if I if you were offered to job, if you were offered the same job from two different companies and one company was going to say, we're going to pay ten dollars.

an hour, and the other company says, we're gonna pay you $100 an hour, and both of those are considered normal or okay or acceptable, which one would you choose? Obviously, you're gonna choose the $100.

So why do we accept being on the lower end of the curve to saying like, no, it's normal, but we're on the left side of the belt curve.

And that, I think that's where the misconception or the message gets lost within primary care, because we don't know what to do with that.
