Larry MeadorGuestRobbie YoungHostSo can you tell me a little bit more about Evoke Credit Union Marketing and w- really where and how you dig in and add value for the credit union?

I, I think that, I'd say probably the biggest thing with Evoke and w- with credit unions, and it was kind of a natural fit for us to go into that category.

We kind of combine behavior psychology, creativity, some performance marketing, uh, which is a, was a big buzz term.

But performance marketing in a, a lot of agencies are either really highly creative or highly analytical, and we try to really bridge both.

So we do media planning, creative campaigns, analytics, all that, but the real value I think that we bring comes from helping credit unions understand why people behave the way they do.

Why does one member become incredibly loyal, why another just jumps for rates, so they just rate shop constantly? Why do younger consumers say the value of c- is community but gravitate towards fintech? Those are really behavior questions, and once the credit unions we work with really, uh, understand the emotional drivers behind those financial decisions, their marketing becomes far more effective for both.
And I'm sure that's imperative now more than ever, especially that digital needle just keeps moving around.

And it used to be a thing that we would say, kinda like my father's Oldsmobile, right? You would say, if you were in financial services and you had a member or a customer, if you were a bank, and they turned 50, you counted on that being like a customer for life, a member for life.

And these days, because of fintech, because of the applications that allow you to transfer funds, you know, across different platforms, we're seeing everybody, no matter what age, utilize this and have multiple banking credit union partners, vendors.

But I think at the end of the day, the onus is on the credit union to really kind of establish that persona-based relationship with their member as opposed to just thinking of them as a target audience customer.
So digging into that persona a bit more, many credit unions already have their built-in target audiences.
