The momentum is so strong in a lot of these setups as you wait for a certain level to clear like we're doing in bear markets and waiting for this sort of really clear entry to go because we're worried most of these impulses we're getting sold into.
What's going on is the levels that we want are just getting completely cleared through.
So you are forced to chase.
You are forced to just make a position and go, I'm seeing what's developing here and I need to go into a position.
That's what I've been feeling over the last week or two in my positions.
I'm like, well, clearly the market's in a frame of mind.
I need to form a position and then I can add to it along the way.
And that's maybe how I'm approaching.
I'm still waiting for confirmation, still doing all that.
But I am, in a way, preempting a few things.
But managing my risk, of course, around that.
And that's what bull markets do.
So if we go back to, I'm going to say, on the whole downtrend down and the last six months has been a really difficult environment.
And when we say, I've been trading and doing this, it's been really short, sharp in and out movements.
You see a good trade, you're like, okay, great.
But in the back of your mind, you're like, oh, the last six to 12 months has been shocking and every movement has had no sustainability to it.
So really, if you have a 10% to 20% move and get really lucky on that, you followed your process and you reap those rewards, you want to reap those rewards as quickly as possible.
But in a more bullish market, What is and what does happen is it just continues to grind higher.
It's got this staircase up, elevator down, of course, but generally you climb.
The dips are bought.
That's what a bull market feels like.
