Citrix discloses yet another NetScaler memory-overflow flaw allowing remote code execution, while Oracle Health's breach count nears twenty million, thousands of European wind and solar systems sit…
Another Netscaler flaw.
A memory overflow that hands an attacker remote code execution, or at the very least, crashes the device.
This is not the first Netscaler bug this month, and that's the point.
Attackers already know this product line, they already know where it sits, and it faces the internet by design.
If you run gateways or ADC appliances, they go to the top of your patch list today, ahead of everything else.
Then check your exposure, and go through your logs for anything strange.
If something already got in, you want to find it before the patch makes it harder to see.
The uncomfortable truth about edge devices is that a breach there often stays quiet for a long time.
And quiet breaches have a way of getting bigger.
