When a woman had a challenging relationship with her father, whether it was emotional or physical abandonment, or some form of pain was created, or he wasn't a safe presence, the safe presence that she needed growing up.

Then a woman will wear what I call father wound glasses in her relationships with men.

What this means is that she will never see the man fully as he is or for who he truly is, better to say.

she will see him through the glasses of the father wound what does this mean allow me to demonstrate it for a very powerful example where i coached a woman exactly on this topic she came to me and expressed that she was on the verge of leaving her partner whom she loved deeply she shared with me the specifics of why she wanted to leave That sounded understandable.

Anyone who would listen to that on the outside would think, well, okay, that makes sense.

I will always dig deeper and get to the core in service to them, to serve them at the highest level.

Because I don't know whether it's a false story or a very compelling story she created inside her own mind.

And at some point, I realized and I helped her realize that she was looking for evidence that her partner was exactly like her father.

It's a very common expression of the father wound that a wound will attract a man who is emotionally available just like her father was.

And when I helped her see it, and when I helped her see through this protective mechanism to try to find evidence and to come to conclusions without actually seeing the man in front of her, she had an immensely powerful breakthrough.
