Spooky season is officially here! 🍂📚 In this episode of Cookie Bookie Club, we’re wrapping up our September reads, sharing what we’ve been watching, and talking about the books, movies, and TV shows…
My September was not as great as my August, but I still did, I did decent.
Mm-hmm.
Um, what about you ladies?
I did not read a lot in September.
Yeah, it's a rough month.
It was a busy month.
Uh-huh.
It was so busy.
And I kept wanting to.
Yes.
But it just, things got so busy.
And, like, I feel like September I also was, like, the most stressed out because I didn't have my reading time.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Int- yeah.
Yeah, I agree, because September is, like, back to school for us, and then I have one daughter in cross country, one daughter in dance, and then obviously I'm back to work and things are just, like, crazy.
crazy.Book wise, I didn't read as much, but one of the books was very thick, even though I read it in, like, four days, you know? So- Oh my God ...
um, and then I also finished a book, like, October 1st, you know? So that was- Mm ...
that was read basically in September, but I'll talk about it in my October reads.
Oh.
Mm-hmm.
You know? And so, um, okay, granted, maybe I didn't read as much as I did in other months, and I was very stressed out because I wasn't working, which is such a conundrum for me, because I'm stressed out when I'm not working, like, oh my gosh, and then now that I'm back to work, I'm- Oh my gosh [laughs] Now that I'm back to work, now I'm stressed because I'm putting in the long hours again.
So- [laughs] ... it's just like, I don't know why I can't just calm down when I'm not working, you know? So, but I did get more sewing done this month-
